Wayfarer's Hymn

Winner of 2015 Kentucky Music Education Association College Composition Contest

Wayfarer's Hymn is a solemn piece written in reaction to the Syrian refugee crises. The piece blends together modern chorale style writing with moments of traditional harmony and form. Ultimately the compositions speaks to longing, but ultimately the hope of a better tomorrow.
